515 MCAT 4.0 GPA Research and lots of hours…27 schools and ZERO II’s????? Anyone else

OK, let's do some rough, back of the napkin math.

This table is the famous GPA/MCAT grid. It shows results across the last 3 cycles.

Dividing the frequency by 3 to get an average across your stats per cycle shows that there are, on average, roughly 4,164 applicants with your stats applying each year—and that isn't even counting the 4,458 applicants with an MCAT better than yours (>517) or the 4,341 applicants with a slightly lower MCAT (>510).

We know logically that it gets more competitive every year.

What did you do outside of your academics to stand out in a crowd of nearly 13,000 applicants with metrics comparable to yours?
 
You posted that you got an II to Columbia last month 🧐
Clearly, the guy just thinks Columbia is a no-brainer med school, thus an II is nothing.

bet bro just didn't want to sound neurotic so he added the "NO II" part
