5th year internship

does anyone know how this exactly works

like if i do an AOA-residency, do i have to do a 5th year internship?

what if i do an allopathic one, and i move to a state that requires the 5th year, does that mean i cannot practice there?

I recommend that you do a search of the forums for Osteopathic internship. We have a lot of info on here, especially recent threads on some changes coming next year.

basically, you're not adding any extra time with the DO internship with a few exceptions by specialty/location.
