hey guys,

well, i recently got accepted to dental school. the thing is.. next semester in college, I need only 12 elective credits of anything to graduate. Needless to say w/o giving my schedule, I will have a lot of free time. I want your opinion. With about 7-8 months before dental school, I was wondering what you guys did/wish you would have done with a lot of free time. I'm not working with a lot of money, so "travel the world" is out of the question. not to sound too homo, but I am writing out an objective/mission plan for the next 7 months of my life and wanted your input. Since it is my last semester in college, I was wondering what you guys would do if you were in my shoes. I know that I will never have this opportunity again, and want to take full advantage of it. Thanks for your input/advice.

I bought an XBOX and played HALO3 about 7 hours a day for a few weeks, then I got a subscription to netflix. best 7 months of my life.

you could also think about working and trying to save up some money, so you won't accumulate as much debt.

Or you could just do as previously said and play halo all day, either way congratulations on getting into dental school.

I increased the number working days at Disneyland. I also got a 2nd job as a newspaper carrier. I just couldn't stand doing nothing at home…..I only had to take 9 units during the last quarter of my undergrad year.

That's how I paid for the first 2 years of rent:thumbup:.

I say try to do as much exercise as possible because once you get into school you are prone to become a sedentary ******* ... and guess what it gets worse after you are done with it ... also enjoy life .

My girlfriend's friend worked as an escort; she said she made a lot of money in a short time.

I would do a lot of camping/fishing & get a part time job. If I wasn't married, I'd devote 6-12 hrs/day playing Call of Duty, Halo3, GoW2, etc.

Highly suggest the big vacation.

I spent a lot of time after acceptance studying to prepare to do well in dental school.

Dental school is more like community college.

We do not cover material anywhere close to the depth we did in my state undergraduate college.

Additionally, the exams usually are matched for 'one question per slideshow slide' so it makes studying super easy.

What school do you go to? I wish our classes were that easy...
