Are the majority of the military residencies following the 80 hour rule this year? I know that the joint general surgery residency of Wilford Hall with University Hospital is not, they work typically 110 to 120 hours a week.

So, no takers here huh?

It's my understanding that the Navy's residencies actually implemented the 80 hour rule a year before the rest of the world made it a standard.

At least that was true at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego.

I know that both National Naval Medical Center and Walter Reed have also implemented the 80 hour restrictions. It seems as if many programs, especially those in the DC area, took the 80 hour week more seriously after Hopkins' medicine program got dinged for non compliance.
