on the front card, it asks, "during the working side movement of the mandible, the oblique ridge of a maxillary first molar passes which sulcus of the mandibular first molar?"
on the reverse side, the answer is "distobuccal sulcus".
However, I don't agree with this. I think the correct answer should be "lingual groove". Any suggestion from you guys?

I think that it's the non-working side which passes by the Lingual groove. Correct me if I'm wrong!

The lingual groove is what the maxillary ML cusp pases through on the mandibular first molar during working side movement. If it is the mandibular second molar, then it is the facial groove.

the distobuccal sulcus is right...b/c the condyle on the working side rotates and moves forward and downward...thus causing the oblique ridge to pass distal to the structure that normally sits in the oblique ridge (the distobuccal cusp) of mand 1 molar...(i hope this wasn't too confusing..=oP)

Is this question for Left Lateral Excursion movement? Try it out on your typodont.
Damn, it's 2-2. where's the tiebreaker 🙄
