A few questions about potential UCSF or other UC Med school

I’m a resident of Oklahoma at the moment. I will have my MSN In a few months. What’s the possibility of going to med school at 50? I recently became aware of a scholarship that will cover my tuition at any UC System school as a Native American. How does the UC system treat unrecognized tribes as far as acceptance? Is there any preference offered? I could care less about my ancestry, but thought it might be an opportunity to continue going to school since tuition is covered. I'd have to figure out where to live and that might be a problem. Another option is to continue on my nursing path to DNP or PhD.
