Hmmm...hard to say. Unfortunately, I think most schools have cutoffs in each section of about 7 or 8. A "Q" in WS is above average so that helps a bit, but depending upon where you wanna go, you might have to re-write. But again, not entirely sure. I know for Canadian schools the minimum in any section is 7 (and for some, 8) and "M" on the WS.

Same here Verbal is 6, and I never ever got anything less than 9 on all of my practice tests!

GTO is there any reason you scored so low in VR compared with your other sections? I mean is english your secondary language or something?

I scored lower in my VR section too (i got 8) but during interviews, my interviewers told me that since I came to US 3 years ago, so they would take that into consideration.

Eventhough there are rumors about med schools setting cut-offs for 7 or 8 in each section, you should still ask your premed advisor or adcoms about your situation if you have special hardship with your VR section. Cause it seems that you did study for MCAT pretty hard judging from your other sections scores.

Good luck!

i applied a little late last year, but got no interviews (applied to about a dozen schools). 3.6GPA. 12P 11B 6V. if you can improve the verbal, you really should. i guess being a resident of less competitive states schools might give you a chance. oh, and the writing score doesnt change anything.

Ouch. Verbal is the cutoff score. I've heard that some adcoms will turn down anything below a 7. But low BS and PS can be acceptable if say your major was rhetoric.
