a question about Tufts' requirements

Discussion in 'Pre-Dental' started by babohead, Jul 1, 2002.

  1. Why is Tufts so strict about recommendation letters??? They told me that I need to get letters from General biology and chemistry. I was hoping that microbio would count as biology.
I don't think i would get a good letter from my general biology professor, at all. What should I do? Should I just not apply ?

I don't think they are that strict. My letters came from a genetics prof, cell physiology prof, and a general chem prof. I was accepted and was never told that I needed any additional letters. So, I wouldn't worry too much. Good luck!!

I go to Tufts and my letters came from an analytical chemistry prof, general bio prof, and an english prof-so i think 1 chem, 1 bio, 1 non-science is a good mix.
