Hello,

I have a question regarding the behavior of Thyroid Gland and I would really appreciate your input and expriences with this sunject.

As all Americans know.. it is a big struggle finding an easy way to loose weight, So they came up with this new way of intaking T3.. thyroid hormon to increase the metabolism of body and eventually loose weight. I mean it makes tons of sense that this should actually work. BUT here is the question -->

The hormons have negative feedback effect of course.. so If the person takes T3 hormon throid will stop producing it.. Right?

Suppose we take even more T3 to reimburse the effect of negative feedback on thyroid. After the ideal results have been reached and the manual intake of T3 stoped by the person.. does the throid take over the regular T3 production or does it get lazy and so to speak addicted to the extra intake?

Can some one explain this to me please?

Thank you
