Hello,

I've been studying for about two months now for this exam. I've taken 4 Kaplan FL's + the Kaplan diagnostic. The last exam I took, my overall score decreased, so this has made me question if I'm ready for my 8/25 exam. My goal is to get a 510+ but I'm not sure if I need more time.

Kaplan Diagnostic half-exam (no studying) - 495 (121/123/128/123)
Kaplan FL 1 - 498 (123/125/127/123)
Kaplan FL 2 - 500 (123/125/127/125)
Kaplan FL 3 - 503 (124/126/127/126)
Kaplan FL 4 - 501 (125/126/125/125)
AAMC QP CARS 1 - 62%
AAMC QP Bio 1 - 78%

While going over my exam, my wrong answers fell towards 50% content review and 50% getting it down to 2 choices and picking the wrong one. I'm starting to incorporate more AAMC material and I'm hoping to be done with the all the QP's and section tests. I also have 2 FL's scheduled for myself and the 2 AAMC FL's a week before my test. These Kaplan questions seem to be getting harder/more vague and I'm wondering if I should switch to another company.

tl/dr; Should I push back my test? Should I start using other companies than Kaplan?

Youre letting your neuroticism show through. :)

A drop of a few points is nothing to worry about. I would be more concerned if it was 10 or so. Definitely move on to other companies, your scores will improve dramatically. You have plenty of time to gauge your performance.

Thanks! I guess I am being a little bit neurotic. I'm mostly just nervous because I wanted to hit my target score (510) at least once and it seemed like I should be getting closer to it with about 3.5 weeks away from my exam.

I got a 501 on Kaplan and got a 509, you are scoring higher so I think you are fine. Only material that matters is the AAMC material. Just learn from the test prep FLs and you will see the improvement.

Thanks! I'm going to save those last two for a week before my test and hopefully get a more accurate score
