Hey, I was just wondering what you'll thought about how my chances (still not done with pre-reqs), of being accepted to DO schools as I continue on the path, and your honesty would be really appreciated! I am new to this forum so I just wanted to get involved and hear some thoughts.I realize my science grades are low, but it's not like I bombed any of the classes either.

3.5 cgpa

3.0 sgpa (still have to take orgo I & 2)

Biology 1: B-

Biology 2: B

General Chem: A-, B, B-

Physics 1: B

Physics 2: B-

4 semesters of ER volunteer work

Currently working as a CNA in a nursing home.

Mcat - TBD

Planning on shadowing this year, finishing pre-reqs and taking mcat after.

Thanks so much,

Mike

Try to increase that sGPA to 3.2+...26+ mcat will definitely get you in...Being a CNA is a big plus as far as patient interraction.👍

I would say try to get a 3.25+ sci gpa and a 27+ MCAT and you should be good.

Mikey's chances are fine with a 3.5 cGPA. The sGPA may hurt you in some schools (like mine) but I think you'll get interviews. Just rock the MCAT!
