So we got contacted by AACOM about signing up for this fair because we've matched DOs before. Do people actually know this is happening?

Timing is inconvenient for us and we're getting sick of all this pre- interview virtual recruitment stuff, so we're debating passing on it. Just want to make sure this isn't something that's going to be attended by every DO MS4 ever.

I don't even think my specialty has people there so I didn't continue reading the email my school sent. Is it mostly old DO programs though?

We are not an old DO program. Like I said, our program basically got emailed by AACOM because we "have matched DO students in the past".

I'm leaning towards ignoring it honestly.

I don't know anyone from my school who has mentioned attending but I don't talk to everyone or speak for everyone. We got 2 emails about it covered up by a deluge of other emails related to application season.

Trying to be vague here... Since you are in a unique training pathway it's probably not helpful anyways. People will be seeking your situation out so I don't see the value in going to a generic virtual fair. Unless you are speaking more generally, of course.

Yeah, honestly we've had enough stuff already, so I don't think it's worth it to us. Maybe the bigger specialties.
