AACOMAS Personal statement doesnt allow Indentation for the personal statement, what to do?

Indentations aren't something that works on AACOMAS since the Tab button indent effect doesn't work in the AACOMAS personal statement typing space. So, what should I do? Should I not indent, and just put a space between each paragraph? Should I indent using the spacebar, that seems like it'll use up a lot of characters that I need since I am right on the dot to 5300 characters. Im so sorry if this is a stupid question, I am just now noticing this. Thanks everyone and stay safe.

I typed in word, copied and pasted into AACOMAS, double-entered to break paragraphs and that was it, no indentation needed.
