AADSAS GPA calculations - What does "w/o" stand for?

Under GPA calculations in your AADSAS file, it lists your Quality Points, GPA, Quality Points w/o, and GPA w/o. What does the "w/o" stand for?

I know w/o usually stands for without, but without what? The +/- GPA points? But what about the Quality Points?

w/o means that that gpa was calculated without using + or - grades.
