AAMC 3R vs. The Real Thing

Anybody out there want to comment on 3R (the one free at e-mcat.com) vs. other AAMC tests? or AAMC III (which is the precursor of 3R, right?) vs. the real thing?

I just took 3R today and went up 3 pts. each on PS and BS from my Kaplan practices ... so now I'm wondering whether this is accurate or just wishful thinking!

ive heard that 3R is a little easier than the mcat administration now... 4-6R are supposedly the best indicators of the actual format... as far as similarity goes, i've been scoring around the same on the aamc tests versus kaplan

i got a 34 on 4R and a 32 on 5R, while I usually get 31-33 for kaplan's full lengths... you should definitely take 4,5, and 6... if u scored well on 3R, im sure you can do well on these others too
