so here it is. As 6 was taken out and was considered little less representative of the real MCAT i took it as the first of the series on the other day.

    I got 14, 10, 10 - in PS, VR , BS respectively.

However, I was concerned with the biological passage that has no relation to BIO. This is about the fire fighters. I was surprised to see some interesting questions such as amount of energy etc. I was highly surprised with that question. Are these type of questions common on real MCAT?

Also, in regards to the VR. I was doing all fine until those last to passages about criticism and glaciers....those were seriously difficult. your thoughts on those?

Did you take AAMC 6R (the longer one)? I thought AAMC 6 CBT didn't exist.

I took the 6R three days before my exam and scored two points higher (+2) on the real thing.
    • My 6R PS score was one point higher (+1) than my real MCAT score.
    • My 6R VR score was two points lower (-2) than my real MCAT score.
    • My 6R BS score was one point lower (-1) than my real MCAT score.

Completely irrelevant to this topic, but what did you do to increase your score from 30 to 39? That's pretty intense!

Not trying to come off as arrogant, but the firefighter passage was VERY relevant to biology and a basic understanding of the integumentary and excretory system and its relationship to blood pressure would have helped. I got 11 11(35/40 missed 12 by 1 question XD) 13 and I thought BS was significantly easier than the other CBTs. Made some dumb errors on PS(esp on the passage about stringed instruments)

Here's the full post describing it.

Short story: EK all the way, and more practice tests.

ofcourse, it was. For instance the sympathetic nervous system and skin deformity that was indeed relevant. But question is specifically in regards to the energy of the two. That was the question that made me think, " ENERGY IN BIO?"

Cool, I took AAMC 6R on paper as well. I think your scores are good (esp PS) considering this is your first full length test. Review this test carefully to find question types and content areas you're weak in and thoroughly review them (especially for BS) before your next FL. I also recommend EK 101 for VR practice, if you haven't done that already.
