    Today I took AAMC 9 and got a 10/9/10 (29).
Did anyone do better on their actual April MCAT than the AAMC 9 score. Also I thought the Bio has much easier Organic, but that the verbal was harder. How did others feel? Thanks!

AAMC 9 was very close for me. 13PS, 12VR, 13BS on 9, 13PS, 11VR, 13BS on the real thing. Had I missed one extra question on VR on AAMC 9 I would have had an 11 and the scores would have been identical.

They made you take 2 PS sections in April? That's rough.

I got a 34 on both AAMC 9 and the April exam but my PS and BS scores were reversed.

btw oxeye, congrats on the great score!!! I hope to get my score up there this August. I have realized that sitting in on the exam twice with 1 hour of sleep were major mistakes.
oh and your little one's picture is adorable once again!

Sitting on an exam won't help your score, you need it on the table so you can see it! :p

I know this is easier said than done: But try to picture youself in the zone. It's really amazing what a calm mind and fierce concentration can do for your score. Think about the moment and let everything else drift away. I think that's what made the different on test day because while taking practice exams I never did that and on test day I did and got a huge bump.

I will toast to that. Will a zone energy bar suffice for "being in the zone"? :D

any thoughts on aamc 8 versus the real score? i took aamc 9 awhile back (because it was the only aamc test in my possession at the time), so aamc 8 will be my last test before the real deal.

I got a 34 on AAMC 9 (taken two or three weeks before April test) and got a 39 on the April MCAT.

    Keep the hopes up!

My AAMC 8 = AAMC 9 which were 2 points higher than my actual score. So, both AAMC 8 and 9 are good predictors of your actual score, based upon my experience.
