Aamc #9

I'm just wondering if anyone else had a huge drop in their verbal score for this test. I've been consistently getting around 9-10 on previous aamc's and EK full lengths. My break down for this test was:

PS=14
VR=7
BS=12
Composite=33

Is it time to worry or did everyone else find aamc#9 to have a harder than usual VR section? Any input would be great.

Yeah my score dropped from an (average) 11 to an 8. But if you look at the advanced breakdown they give you and categorize the problems by difficulty, you'll notice there's only 2 "Easy" questions, compared to the 20 that were on AAMC #8, so a drop in score is reasonable. Guess you just have to hope for the best and take what you're given on the real thing

my VR dropped 2 points from AAMC 8. I think most people had a drop on that verbal.

I must say aamc 9 and 10 verbal were brutal...
I am taking the real test tomorrow..hopefully, it's nothing like 9 and 10.... *crossing fingers*

AAMC 9 is said to be the best predictor of the actual MCAT.
