AAMC practice tests

I have seen two different versions of the AAMC practice tests:
I-IV [supposedly old version] and 3r-6r [2004, new format].

Can someone tell me the difference [if the questions are different]?
I plan to buy them and need to know if buying the tests [I-IV] will not really matter for practice purposes.
Pl. share info' and experience.

I and II are useless, you mainly want to make sure you have 4,5,and 6. There is little difference but I would go ahead and buy the updates "R" versions.
