Did anybody notice that aamc did not have aromatic compounds listed under orgo?

Members don't see this ad.
 
Yeah, I think in ExamKrackers they mention how it's not going to be tested anymore (and that was 2 years ago for my edition of the book?) I swear you just have to remember they undergo substitution (GENERALLY) and RARELY addition/elimination.

Thank u so much! But that doesn't help much... I am freaking out on orgo.:eek:
 
LOL no worries, I was too. I think focusing on material from Orgo I is best. You will possibly see a chromatography or distillation based question (I had one on mine) I did not study Orgo II that much, I think I looked over Grignard and peaced out.
 
Yea, I basically studied aromatics as one of the last topics because I knew it would be an unlikely topic. It's also the easiest topic of orgo in my opinion.
