I missed a delivery of certified mail on Friday and the postman forgot to write who the sender was. He did however mark on the little postcard that they leave behind that it is a large envelope. Can you guys tell me if Nova and Creighton send out acceptances in small or large envelopes? I'm trying to figure out who it's from, and those are the only possibilities at this time.

I have been viewing this forum for some time now and just now registered just to ask some questions to people who seem like they know what they are talking about. I am so confused!.... I have not heard a thing from Temple yet. Has anyone received news aside from acceptances and is there anyone in the same boat as me there?

So far I am on the waitlist at NYU (until i take my DATs again, I guess), some negative news and the rest nothing. (does anyone know what the probablility of getting off that waitlist is, or how it works?)

For all people who have been acceptances, is it too much for me to ask what your stats were to see what is being considered as acceptable and competitive?

Please help. Will be waiting, thanks so much.

Did you interview at Temple or have you just not heard anything alltogether? NYU told you to retake the DAT to get off the waitlist right? Are you planning on retaking it?

yes Temple was the first school that I interviewed at. (back in Sept). Yes, my interviewer at NYU told me to retake the DATs and I would be "in" but then I got a letter saying I was onthe waitlisht (I assumed that was b/c of my first DATs). I am going to retake the DATs in a bout 2 weeks.

NOVA sends out acceptances via certified mail. Most likely it is them.

Wow, you contacted Temple and convinced them to grant you an interview. Thats great. I always feel like I can't pull off something like that and instead end up annoying whoever I am speaking to and am afraid of making a negative impression. When you contacted Temple, who did you contact? Was it Mark or someone else? Just curious about that... I did send a thank you note to all the people that I spoke with when I interviewed and I believe I spoke a little (stress A LITTLE) about how impressed I was with the school (which I definitely was), but perhaps it wasn't as clear? I dont know... We'll see what happens. Congrats on your acceptance! are you going?

The NOVA acceptance is a big white thin envelope. I will be going to PENN. I loved NOVA, but looking at my personal life and goals I believe PENN is a better fit for me.
