Hi Everyone,

I was just wondering is there a specific protocol to accept an offer? Do I have to to something on AMCAS? Do I have to write a letter to the school, thanking them and write that I accept the offer? Or can i just simply send my check and write class spot on it?

thanks

My opinion:

Wait until the school contacts you. They will usually send you a form with a box to check for "accept" or "reject" to hold or refuse your spot. If you accept you have to send a check back to them with the form.

Of course you can do this at multiple schools if you are accepted and the think about it until May 15 before making your final decision. It is polite to decline any offers you are not interested in so that your other SDNers can get off the waitlist.

Hope that helps, although it was a pretty elementary answer to your question.

There was no boxes on my form.
