The PD at one of the programs I was interviewing made it sound like the ACGME surgical numbers for each residency program were a matter of public record and available online. I haven't been able to find them other than a sheet showing averages and percentiles for the whole country. Anyone know if there is a way to get this? I have written down general numbers for programs I have interviewed at but it would be nice to get some more specific and objective data...

Yeah I have seen the minimums I'm asking if there is somewhere to access average numbers for last year for each program

Those statistics would never be published. Programs are pretty secretive about their numbers UNLESS they are stellar.

There is some national statistical data from the ACGME resident case log system but it gives percentiles and averages/medians. Not broken down per program. It will give you a general idea of how a program's numbers stack up to other programs as a whole.

I'm sure you've also seen this data, but it may be helpful to others...
