Hello. I noticed that Eras is asking for ACLS certification. Is this required? My school offered a course during my 2nd semester but I only received BLS training.

No, it's not required. Most programs will supply ACLS / PALS etc as part of the program. Some may not, and in that case you'd need to get ACLS certified before you start. But I think that's rare.

but does this affect your application in anyway (if you are not certified at the time of submission). I would assume leaving it blank would not matter since as APD mentioned everyone mostly re-certifies upon intern year!

Very few programs, if any, will care.
