I know that for AMCAS application, we will have 15 slots to fill in. With that being said, is doing volunteer at 4,5 different places but only 20 hours each is worse than volunteer at one place for 100 hours? (Because multiple places will take up all the slots of other activities). Or does the application allows us to group them together as long as they fall under the same category (For example: all the non-clinical volunteering at 4 different food banks"

The problem will be having a contact that can vouch for them all. You could list the hours for the one where you spent the most time and list those hours "for credit" and then list the other organizations in the description.

So how can the person from 1 organization can vouch for different organizations and confirm the total hours then? What do they do to solve that problem? Thank you

You can group them and include Contacts in the space's narrative description for each site (except for the first one listed, which will be in the header), so that all of the hours are validated.
