actually starting today

So today I actually start my orientation for my program. I am so excited in that dorky way. I spent much of yesterday with some bug and thankfully am feeling better this am.

I get to find out what I am really in for this week (and also start getting paid )

My orientation is Wednesday (for the Grad School) & Thursday (for the department). Classes start on Monday.

we're the 2nd (orientation) and the 3rd. i can't believe it's really happening!!

We have a graduate school orientation on Sat, dept picnic Sat, dept orientation Monday and classes also start Monday. Woo hoo!

my joy was left to wane a bit. Tropical storm Fay closed campus at noon and for tomorrow as well. Oh well.

At least I got to meet with my advisor with a bit.

I move up to NYC this Sunday for Welcome Week next week. And that's when we register for classes and such.

I start Tuesday (both class and orientation on that day). Department lunch/picnic next Saturday.
