adding more med schools AFTER already turning in primary app...?

I submitted my primary application in July, but I want to apply to one more school. It says on the amcas manual that I would have to re-certify and re-submit. Do any of you know if that will affect my application negatively? I submitted my application pretty early. I don't want my application to be delayed or be at the bottom of the pile just because I'm adding another school.

I added a school after my initial submission. I'm pretty sure it didn't hurt a thing. Besides, I can't see how it would put you at the bottom of the pile if you've already recieved the secondaries (which if you submitted in July you should have received them).

Lots of people add schools, particularly August MCATr's who find out they did better than expected

I've done it twice since my first submit. The "certification" process after adding more schools is like an automatic thing. On both occasions, I received secondary invites from the added schools within a week.

yea but what about the ones with October 15th deadlines, you can't exactly add them after getting the MCAT results 👎
