Adding more schools while waiting for AMCAS verification

Hello,

I'm a New member here to the SDN and very, very thankful for this forum. I've submited my AMCAS aplic. and still waiting for verification. What does "ready for review" mean anyway? Does it mean they haven't even started looking at it? Does the status change from Ready to review to under review to verified?

Another question: If I want to add more schools does that take me down to the bottom of the pile for verification? I'm already kind of late and I'm don't really want to lose myspot for one or two more schools.
