additional letters of recommendation

Hi everyone,

I was planning to submit an additional letter of recommendation from the many schools I have not heard back from, I was wondering is the best way to do this through the AMCAS letter service or should they be mailed to individual schools? Do schools get some sort of notification that an additional letter has been added? I ask because of how late in the cycle it is.

Per the website at many schools. LOR are only accessed through AMCAS. Only a few schools take them directly. Go to the websites for the your schools to be sure. Not sure though this will move the bar, unless the LOR is unusual. Best of luck to you.
