I have noticed I am getting many questions on rounds on treatment of various disorders. Does anyone know of a good work I can use to study treatments? I could look up review articles on each topic but this would be prohibitively time-consuming when considering all of medicine, and I can think of Step I/II materials, but it's not going to have things like dosages which are important for clinical practice.

2. Admission orders. What is a good source to study this? My resident invariably comes up with many more orders than I thought of, all very practical and relevant. I could just go back when I have more time in the 2 days after long call days and study the orders that were placed initially but I would think there is a better or more evidenced-based medicine way than what my resident happened to do. Thanks!

treatment- pocket medicine and up to date

doses- epocrates or pocket pharmacopeia or micromedex

orders- it's early in the year, that's what you have backup for.
