Hey All,

Im a bit confused on which field MD or DMD. Is it ok to apply to medical and dental school at the same university? Or will the admissions committee see both applications? thanks!

I don't know if the admissions committee would know or not, but it is a little strange. Why are you uncertain about which field you want to go into?

Why are you confused?

You either like teeth so much that you want to see them every day for the rest of your life or you don't.

Other than maybe Geriatrics, you're still going to see teeth every day in medicine. 😉

Shadow a doc, shadow a dentist. Then decide. As for your question, I have no idea. Don't call any place you're actually applying to to ask, or at least don't tell them your name.

That shouldnt even be an issue. You should know which you want to do before you are at the point of applying. Definetly start shadowing like dajimmers said, and good luck with your decision.
