i thought it would be nice if we started a thread with advice for incoming 1st year med students, how to survive med school, how to succeed in med school, whatever.

does anyone have any tips? anything!

Might be better if this was presented in the allo forum down below the premed forums. That's where the med students post.

Contact the school which you will be attending and ask for some MII/III students' e-mail addresses. Most schools which I looked at had at least a few upper classmens' contact info on file (for example, those that give interviews/tours/etc.). That, IMO, would be the best way to prepare for your first year.
