Hi all,

Non-trad applying to MD programs here. I'm curious if it matters to admission committees that my PhD is in Psychology (Neuroscience track)? I'm not sure if committees would regard this differently from having a PhD in Neuroscience from a Biological Sciences department instead? I do have the necessary undergrad prerequisites.

Any advice would be appreciated! :)

Thank you! I was just perhaps overly worried about perceptions, i.e. neuroscience phd from a biological science department viewed as more 'hard sciencey' compared to neuroscience research/phd from a psych department.
