Advice needed for Theoretical Orientation Techniques

I am a student doing research on the Humanistic orientation theories.

I am trying to determine what specific techniques within each theory could be utilized from the following theoretical orientations and how I could use them with clients who are older (seniors, and even with individuals with dementia), and college students

The techniques that I am trying to research

Gestalt
Motivational Interviewing
Existential
Expressive Art Therapy
