Hi everyone I wanted your advice on something I have the Kaplan notes from 1998 I wanted to know wether it would be ok to prep for the forthcoming boards from that or not .Please give your inputs.Oh by the way I am new to this forum and it has been really informative and useful.

ok f-dentist i think its better for you and more usefull to prepare for the exam by using the dental decks,though if you think you really into this 1000 pages book,go ahead,its full of information,if you could repeat it for 3 times may be you could get a good score,iam not dissapointing you here but the book has so extensive information that is too hard to recall ,in comparison the dental decks is the best.

i dont have any idea f-dentist,i really dont recommend you to go with kaplan notes.

kaplan is something thats way too vast for the exam. if u have time do it. if not, stick with decks papers and theory for any doubts u may have. at least thats my opinion.

Hi, if you want my advice, I have studied for 8 months for part 1.
started with decks and reviewed them. then wathed the Kaplan USMLE videos and reviewed them at least 3 times . then first aid for part 1 then released exams then Crack the NBDE 1 software.
Thank GOD i scored 91.
