Advice really needed: UCSD vs Creighton

I presently hold acceptances from both. I am really impressed with the friendly, family-like atmosphere at Creighton, and kind of scared off by the "hard core" reputation of UCSD. However, the financial incentive and academic reputation are just overwhelmingly in favor of UCSD. So, what do you guys think?? I think I would do well at Creighton and only so-so at SD because, really, the caliber of students at 2 schools are not the same (not to offend Creighton's students though).

UCSD all the way, just because San Diego is nicer than Nebraska.

But, of course, I'm biased (I go to UCSD).

Well, I can't really decide for you but I do know that Creighton med school is pretty cool in that it is not THAT hard. Obviously it is hard but it is not as bad as UCSD and is honors/pass/fail. They really are friendly at creighton and try to help you succed so you will do well. However, UCSD is much cheaper so it depends on how much the difference in tuition matters to you and also la jolla is a great city with great weather -unless you dont mind a little snow every now and then <img border="0" alt="[Laughy]" title="" src="graemlins/laughy.gif" /> ! This winter wasn't bad, although it seems to rotate every other year!Creighton does get a lot of students from Cali and I have actually heard that a lot of their students who want to go back are able to get residencies in cali so you could check on that.
