Advice?

I am on the waiting list at a couple of schools...it is getting real close until classes start. I have been emailing calling the schools...could anyone give me advice on how I can show the schools I am real interested in accepting a spot if it becomes available. Thanks

I remember on my interview at Temple, one of the students(3rd year now) told me that there were actually TWO students in her class that showed up for orientation WITHOUT being invited. I was told that both of them were on the waitlist, and BOTH became part of the class.
.. I'd like to know if any of you Temple students could validate that?

..has this ever been tried anywhere else?
