I graduated a year ago with an econ degree and I'm going back to school to fulfill my pre-reqs. Yet, the school I attend to fulfill my pre-reqs (it's a cal state university) have really weird schedule and because of pre-reqs requirement for those classes, I can't take a 12 units science course load.

So my question is, if I don't take 12 units science course load per quarter. Will that drastically decrease my chance of getting into a dental school?

Who made the 12 credit rule? Your ultimate goal is to show adcom that you can handle sciences with a sufficient load.
