Hello all,
i am currently in a depressive slump, any ideas and what on earth i should do with my mcat score-----------16N!!!!!!!!!

can u imagine

I would burn them and get revenge by kickin' ass in august.

You should talk to a friend who has taken the MCATs and done well - see if you can sit down with them and do some practice passages to figure out why your score is so low. Is it a lack of science knowledge? A difficulty in reading comprehension? Timing? Once you establish your strenghts and weaknesses, put together a game plan and study your ass off. You definetly need to take it again, but don't worry - many people take the MCATs twice, and some do it 3 or more times.

Keep your goal in mind, and you will be fine. Pull your score up to a 28 and you should have a good shot. Good luck, and stop beating yourself up about the score - everyone does badly sometimes; the strength to pick yourself up and keep trying is what will separate you from the rest.

Best Wishes!!!

Asses what you did, did you spend enough time prepping, did you do enough practice exams, did you finish all sections, did you do well in pre-reqs? be realistic and then go from there and fix whatever deficiency you find. If OTOH you did all in your power and still did poorly (yes this can happen), then you had a darn bad test day, hard test, test anxiety, etc..gear up and take it again. Do not give up though.
