Does anybody have an idea abt this field?I know its one of the preventive medicine fields...but what are the job prospects, competitiveness of the field and what exactly does it involve..someone plz shed a light.Thanks

I can't say for certain about the competetiveness of these residency programs, but my understanding is that most preventative medicine residency programs are fairly non-competetive to get, particularly if you are a US student, because so few students know about them and the avg salary is less then other specialties (90-140K).
