Alrighty, so I don't have anyone to say this to right now but my girlfriend, and she didn't f-in believe me. So maybe someone else can tell me I have a reason to be happy =P
I got an 18 on the kaplan diagnostic in January, and by April I wasn't ready (Was scoring 21). I didn't study except for class, so I wasn't expecting to have a big score increase.
I started Kaplan again in June. Got a 21 on my diagnostic. Then, I studied for a couple of weeks and went on vacation for a week. Came back, took Kaplan Full Length 1. Scored a 27, oh wait no I didn't! There was a damned mistake and I actually scored a 20. I found this out two days after I got my "first" score. So I just about freaked out and broke down. But I didn't give up. I persevered, and studied. The next week I took AAMC 5. Scored a 22.
A little better, but that won't cut it. I studed my butt off for a couple of weeks, during which time I went through all of my kaplan books and converted basically every sentence into a question. I have a buttload of questions now.. I studied them for a while (two weeks or so), till about now.
I took Test VI today, and unless someone is gonna tell me it was the easiest AAMC test ever given, I'm going to stay happy!!
I got a damned 30!
10-11V, 7PS (Yeah, I know it blows), 12BS
I donno how my biological jumped from a 7 to a 12, but it did.
Jeez I feel happy right now.
I just wanted to share that with you guys, and I really think the moral of the story is you shouldn't become stuck with the vibe thinking you can't improve at all.
I know thats not a high score to some of you, but to someone who is a film major and hasn't even finished organic chemistry, it's an improvement. =)
