I still can't believe it. I got my big envelope from UMass today and I'm psyched! I guess the third time is a charm!!!!!!!! AHHH! I'm beside myself. (To anyone that cares or is also waiting for UMass, I interviewed on Feb. 26, had a cumulative GPA of 3.70, science GPA 3.57. I took the MCAT 4 times and had a 29Q composite--that's the way UMass uses MCAT scores). Best of luck, everyone!

Oh My Gosh!!!! That is so awesome. I was tired of being the only UMass acceptee here. I felt bad posting anything more about it when so many were waiting to hear.

This isn't the end of your UMass mail, btw. I've received something about every week since I've been accepted, fin aids stuff, etc.. It was funny at first I thought every letter I got was going to say "Sorry we made a mistake-- you aren't accepted" but it never happened! When I paid my deposit I even asked the secretaries to confirm that I really got in. I think they thought I was nuts, but they looked it up anyway.

Anyway congrats. I know how you feel. It's awesome that you got in after so much hard work. I will be your classmate next year! Yay! (Unless I get into Penn which is very doubtful.)

Nah, I didn't get into BU. Actually, I didn't even apply. I did get into Tufts though, so yeah, this has been an AWESOME few weeks. And Harvard...well, I'd probably spontaneously combust if I even stepped on Longwood Ave. soil. LOL.

I'm almost definitely going to attend UMass! And I'm extrememly excited about it if you couldn't tell...

I can't wait to get tanked tonight (and don't worry, "already Doctors," I won't put a hole in my liver.

Now I have to drive to Connecticut for my Uconn interview. This interview might actually be fun since I no longer think my future is resting on every word that I say.

I don't think your long wait means anything. I've heard that most people get in in March and April and up to half of the class comes off the wait list in May and the beginning of June. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
