Try the search feature for some albany info. There were too many threads to cut and paste into this message. Here's a start.

Hi, Ill be starting there this summer. So i would have a bit more to say once im actually in classes and things. Albany is a pretty small school, I think around 900 students or less. Its located in downtown Albany, in the University Heights, where the Albany law and med schools are. Ive heard that is a pretty tough school, but i imagine all pharmacy programs are tough. They have an accelerated program as well. Albany isnt a very nice town to live in though. I currently live here because i went to SUNY Albany and have a house with my partner here. Its pretty small, cold and everything closes early. I dont really know about the acceptance rates, but i am taking some courses at the cc and there are about 5 of us that are going to transfer over to Albany, so maybe they favor locals/ in staters. Albany is conveniently about 3 and half hours outside NYC, 4 from Buffalo and a few more to Canada. There is also SUNY Buffalo, Long Island University and St. Johns University for pharmacy here in NY. After being at a SUNY school for 4 years, i wanted to go to a private school. And Buffalo is pretty damn cold and it snows alot. My family lives about an hour outside of NYC, and i wasnt going to commute 2 hours to go to LIU, so I chose the accelerated program at Albany. Location was a large plus for me. Hope this helps :)

And JD, that was pretty low of them to revoke admission..
