I have found a few references to AMC taking students with lower MCAT scores as long as they fit AMC's "criteria". Could someone explain what their "criteria" is? Thanks.
This application process is really stressful :( :( :(

Probably what every other school's criteria is for admitting people with low MCAT scores: a great undergrad school, spectacular GPA, good essays and amazing extracurriculars/letters of rec. Most every school will let you make up for one weak area with extremely strong others.

I guess if they feel you're a total fit with the school they'll dismiss a subpar MCAT section score or less than stellar GPA. I guess they can guage the fit with your AMCAS essays and letters of recommendation. I really don't know exacty what criteria they refer to. Check out their school mission, you might get a hint there.
