Hey all,

I'm confused about how the LORs work with Albany Medical College. If some of my LORs are from individual people, does the school have their own recommendation form? Or do my writers use the one provided my AMCAS?

They can just use the ones provided by AMCAS. Does anyone know why Albany doesn't use the AMCAS system?

I was guessing they were keeping people on their toes and making sure they were paying enough attention to Albany to notice it. That way they'd automatically eliminate the people who weren't as interested in the school.

i think this is just the first year a lot of the schools are adopting. as it's the first year, maybe they didn't want to be part of an experiment and have it fail, though it is working well.
