Hey All,

Just trying to advise a friend about med school admissions. She took all her pre-reqs (BCPM courses) at a community college and now she has transfer to a four year university.

Does she need to take some upper division courses in specifically BCPM departments, or can she focus on biological psychology courses in the pysch department to be competitive for the best medical schools?

Thanks for all your help!

i think she should definitely take upper level bio, chem, physics and math to help. most schools i believe do not want or recommend you take your pre-reqs at a CC

pre-reqs are the min required... she should be taking a bit more. so, pre-reqs at cc are fine, back it up with some upper levels at the 4yr.
