If you are a current U.S medical student (MD or DO), resident or fellow and you identify as a racial and/or ethnic minority (i.e., Black American, Asian American, Latino/a American, Native American, or Arab American), please participate in a brief online study on minority status and the medical school experience. The anonymized link is right here. It will only take 10-15 minutes and can be completed on your SmartPhone.
IRB Approval: 2020-03-0057
- Eligibility: Self-identified racial and/or ethnic minority medical students, residents or fellows; between ages 18 to 30 years old; enrolled at an accredited U.S. medical school (dual program enrollees are welcome!)
- All responses are anonymous and will be kept confidential (i.e., even IP addresses will not be recorded)
- There are no expected risks to this study. However, it is possible that some survey questions may incite difficult memories and/or emotions related to your identity (especially given what is currently going on in our country). Therefore, a list of mental health resources will be provided at the end of the survey.
- The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. You will then be given the opportunity to participate in a drawing to receive one of two $100 Visa Gift Cards.

- Survey and Gift Card drawing will close on July 1st, 2020.
