Does anyone have information on allergy/immunology fellowships. Do you apply to these after IM residency?

Allergy and Immunology is a subspecialty of either Internal Medicine or Pediatrics. You train to treat adults and children in the specialty. There are approximately 80 program (127) positions across the country that are available as a fellowship. There are no D.O. programs that I know about.

The fellowship is two years and length and you can add an extra year if you choose to do Clinical and Laboratory Immunology. The web site you can go to for more information is www.aaaai.org. I hope that is what you needed.

Thanks for your reply. I'll visit the web site.
