So I've matched already, but originally I never released my Step 2 CK scores. I can't find where to do this on any nbme or usmle or nrmp or whatever web pages. Is this even necessary to do now that I've matched - or does the program to where I've matched have access to all this despite my not releasing it originally?

Am I just confused or do I actually have to do something or both?

So I'll go ahead and take a stab at my own question - I'm thinking the score release option was primarily for application purposes, and if the program I matched to asks for them I'll send them a score report or something in the future. Okay good.

I didn't release mine, and won't be. They don't seem to mind that I didn't.

your program will eventually ask you to release them, as they are required for licensure. if you wait for them to ask, rather than taking the initiative yourself, you risk looking less than responsible to your new boss. why not just release them now?
