Alternate at SLU What Does this Mean?

I just found out I an on the alternate list for next years class. Is this a waitlist or what? This is the first post-interview feedback I have heard so I need some clarification. Thanks alot

as far as i know it means a waitlist. that's not necessarily bad news since slu takes a lot of their incoming class from wl's. good luck!

I was there on Jan. 30th. They said they would get back to us very soon and they were telling the truth. I wish other schools were as prompt.

..will probably withdraw as soon as financial aid packages come out.. 😀

I'm bumping this b/c I got waitlisted at SLU and was wondering how their waitlist moves or is ranked, etc? Any info would be helpful.
